Searching for good deals on CheapTweet

with one comment

See that search bar in the top right corner of CheapTweet? That’s your path to finding exactly the deals you’re looking for on CheapTweet.

cheaptweet-search

You can search for anything – a brand name, a store, a product type or title, a kind of item, whatever you can think of. Just type a word or phrase into that search box to get started.

You can sort your search results by the most votes or by the newest deals. You can view results across all categories or limit your results to a particular category. You can also search just the Cheapest Tweets (those with the most votes). Use the drop-down menus on the search page to focus your results.

For example, let’s say that you want a new pair of earrings. You can search for something broad like “earrings” or something specific like “green chandelier earrings”. You could also search for your favorite earring designer or store.

With more than 230,000 deals on CheapTweet, there’s something for everyone and it only takes a minute to search for exactly the deal you’re looking for.  So, happy searching!

CheapTweet on Good Day Austin

with one comment

The CheapTweet team was interviewed on Good Day Austin today (that’s the Austin Fox affiliate’s morning show).  We talked about what CheapTweet is, why cheap is a good thing, and heard from a seller and a shopper.  It was fun (but a bit nerve-wracking to be on live TV, especially so early in the morning)!

It just got way easier to advertise on CheapTweet

without comments

Advertising on CheapTweet is now easier than ever! Starting today, you can purchase sidebar ads directly from our website. You no longer need to email us for rates or availability. We’ve also switched to an impression-based model, so you pay by the number of impressions you want instead of by the day.

Just go to our advertising info page and get started with the PayPal form on the right side of the page. All you need is a Twitter name and a credit card or PayPal account.

We still offer two kinds of advertising: a sidebar sponsorship and a sponsored tweet.  A sidebar sponsorship is an ad for your Twitter account. A sponsored tweet is a specific deal tweet you want to highlight on CheapTweet. For now, only the sidebar ads are available to purchase online, so email us if you’re interested in a sponsored tweet.  All of our advertising is based on your Twitter account, so you won’t need to send us graphics or ad text; we’ll pull the info we need from your public Twitter profile.

self_serve_ads

Advertising on CheapTweet is an affordable and effective way to reach a large – and rapidly growing – audience of deal-seekers and shoppers. You can buy as few as 1000 impressions at a time or as many as you’d like.  Now’s a great time to capitalize on the increasing popularity of Twitter and deals and get your site noticed.

Please contact us with any questions about advertising. And stay tuned, as we will be announcing some great new professional features very soon!
