How do the sidebar sponsorships work?
Each sidebar sponsorship is associated with a Twitter account. You provide us with your Twitter username and we get your information directly from Twitter. Each ad displays the username, profile picture, web url, and bio that you've specified in your Twitter account settings. The ad links to your web url and provides a button which makes it easy to follow you on Twitter.
How does the sponsored tweet work?
Like other deals on CheapTweet, the sponsored tweet is a regular tweet we pull directly from Twitter. Once you've purchased a sponsored tweet placement, you just let us know which of your tweets you want featured.
How soon after I purchase will my ad be visible?
Before we start any new sponsorship, we manually review the Twitter user information and recent tweets to ensure we have high quality, relevant advertisers for our users. This process typically takes less than 24 hours. Once we've reviewed your information, we'll send you an email letting you know when your ad will begin running. We try to start running new sponsorships as quickly as possible but there may be a short wait depending on availability.
How often will my ad be shown?
The frequency depends on site traffic and how many other advertisers have purchased impressions for the same position. 1000 impressions will likely be shown in less than 1 week.
Do you offer graphic or text ads?
